International children’s book fair opened in Shanghai

s an annual international children's book fair in Asian-Pacific region, the China Shanghai International Children's Book Fair (CCBF) will be held in Shanghai from Nov 20 to 22.

This exciting event is dedicated to copyright trading, authors and reading promotional activities and distribution of content related to books for 0-16 year-old. It is also a platform for showcasing books, newspapers, movies and music, entertainment and educational services on the value chain of children's products. The first international children’s book fair was held in 2013. It won worldwide praises since then. For this year, the exhibition will make efforts to present richer categories of children’s book copyright trading, release latest data of international children's book market, give the exchanges among publishing sectors more attention and pool high-quality international children’s creative brands. It expects to be an international port for Chinese fine children’s books and outstanding authors to go outside and connects upstream and downstream industries on the value chain.

The exhibition has attracted 250 institutes from 23 countries, covering various industries, including publishing, printing, distribution, music and video, e-commerce, children’s toy and packaging. All the booths have been ordered and more than 50,000 categories of latest books will be presented.
