An ancient tomb group from the Han Dynasty recently was discovered at a construction site in Wenxian county of Central China's Henan province. So far, 20 of the over 100 tombs have been excavated, unearthing more than 200 cultural relics, including pottery, bronze ware, ironware, and ancient coins. Expert said that the discovery holds great significance for the Chinese archaeological world, for the tombs will provide many important materials for them to research the social conditions, regional features, and funeral customs of the ancient Chinese people.
