Colorful Danxia

The Colorful Danxia is the most typical Danxia landform (one consisting of a red bed characterized by steep cliffs) in the Northern part of China. And it was recognized as one of the Seven Most Beautiful Danxia in China in 2005.

In fact, Danxia landform is extremely vulnerable and once damaged by a footprint, needs 60 year to restore itself. Since many television shows are filmed here, many tourists, attracted to this place, have treaded on this landform while enjoying the amazing scenery.
