The Yang opera over the years

Yang opera, also called "Wuyang mysterious opera," "fortune-making opera" or "dengjia opera," is a form of opera from the northwestern provinces. In Guding village of Guiyang, villagers believe that Yang opera can dispel ghosts, exorcise evils, eradicate vices and promote virtues.
