Cultural exchange event in Greece to celebrate Chinese National Day

The China Embassy in Greece held a HSK certification ceremony themed “Be Closer to China” on May 29, which is the first event held to celebrate China’s 60th birthday.

Luo Linquan, the Chinese ambassador in Greece, and the president of Greece-China Friendship Association awarded certificates to Greek students who passed their HSK.

These excellent language learners read a Chinese contemporary poem -Ode to Our Motherland, and sang Chinese songs, which was well applauded by all the audience presented. The Greek Wushu Association also put on shows, bringing the ceremony to a new high.

Greek students visited the Chinese Embassy and communicated with Chinese ambassadors on a variety of interesting issues. They also expressed their blessings for China’s 60th birthday.

Luo said that the first Confucius Institute will open soon, and the cultural communication between China and Greece will turn to a brand-new page. He believed that the exchange of language learning is a way of building bridges between the two nations and promoting friendship with each other.
