The Overseas Chinese Administration of Brazil held a preparatory meeting for the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the PRC, according to a Brazil Overseas Chinese News report on August 7. The proxy general consul Gu Yunfen was in attendance.

The Administration holds an evening gala every year to celebrate the motherland’s birthday. This year’s grand gala will take place on September 27 in the São Paulo Anhembi Theater.

As this year marks the 60th Anniversary of the PRC, there will be more recreational and celebration activities than ever to convey Chinese people’s love and best wishes for their country.

The evening gala this year will be comprised of a variety of items provided by the Administration and a special performance from the Ningxia Art troupe. Artists from China and abroad will be presenting diverse and lively programs，and awards will be handed out to lucky attendants.
