Li Ying, Chairman of the Association of Photographers in Gansu province speaks at the exhibition opening.

Li Ying said that he wanted this exhibition to help Koreans become closer to Gansu province's culture and to learn more about the Silk Road. He hopes the exhibition will promote the Gansu Province Photographer's Association and Korean photography. The exchange will deepen friendship between the two countries. He hoped that Korean photographers and Korean friends would have the opportunity to visit Gansu province in the future.

During the opening ceremony, the Gansu Province Photographers Association and Korea Photographers Association presented donated photographs to the Seoul Chinese Cultural Center and Silk Road library.
