The ChiFra Art Exhibition, a grand cultural event hosted by the Ministry of Culture of China, will be held at the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC) in Beijing between Jan. 21 and Feb. 16, 2014 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France. On display are nearly 200 pieces of artworks, including oil painting, printmaking and sculpture, from 40 well-established contemporary artists from the two countries. The touring exhibition will be held in a number of other Chinese cities in 2014. It made its one-week debut on Champs-Elysees Avenue in Paris in late October last year. (Photo: china.org.cn/NAMOC)
