Beijing Tongrentang

Seven cultural tour routes of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) were unveiled on Aug 7 in Beijing by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development and Beijing Municipal Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The Chinese-English bilingual handbook, Beijing Top-quality Cultural Tour Routes of Traditional Chinese Medicine, goes on sale at the same time.

Beijing has rich cultural resources of traditional Chinese medicine. The seven routes designed by the six travel agencies, CITS, CTS, CYTS, China Comfort Travel, Caissa and Ctrip, cover 21 pilot tourist spots. These include the Beijing Tongrentang Group, Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum, Ditan Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Park and the international department of Dongzhimen Hospital. There are various types of routes including the one-day tour, two-day tour, three-day tour, four-day tour and five-day tour.
