(People's Daily Online)

Hanjia Hutong

Located in the western part of the Dashilan area, Hanjia Hutong stretches from Shaanxi Lane in the east to Wudao Street in the west. It is also called Hanjia pool as a rich and influential Han family built a large pool here in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). There are Guangzhou Hall, Shangyu Hall and the Opera Guild here.
