Putting People First, an exhibition on Danish architecture, was held at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) on Oct 10, ushering in the Danish cultural season in China.

This exhibition showed the Danish architectural concept of “putting people first”, which was a popular conception from 1945 to 1975.The unique design of architecture at that time helped the Danish people go through the post-war period and promoted the development of society.

“We aim to motivate children and youth to deepen understanding and seek long-term cooperation in China, even throughout the world.” said Michael, from the Danish cultural center.

“Other than Beijing, the Danish Cultural Season will be held in other cities in China to promote exchanges. I wish that it is a real interactive conversation instead of a unilateral dialogue.” said Vera Noldus, the narrator of the exhibition.
