The 9th China-ASEAN Cultural Forum under the theme Management and Practice of International Arts Festival opened on Sept 15 in Nanning city, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Officials and representatives from China, Singapore and ASEAN attended the forum.

“China and ASEAN have splendid cultures and are open-minded towards different cultures, which pave the way for multilateral cooperation and cultural exchanges”, said Liu Yuzhu, assistant minister of culture. “This year marks the cultural exchanges between China and ASEAN. The purpose of the forum is to offer a platform to share information and experience about the international arts festival and deepen understanding of each other.”
