Qian Zhongping, Art professor at Huazhong Normal University, was born in Zhejiang province in 1966.

It can been said that my drawings are not beautiful, but to say they’re not vivid is wrong. The vivid reality is the incentive of my drawing, but I’m do not only copy reality. I like observing people. The vividness of a specific person has always touched me, but people under my pen were created by combining someone’s eyes and somebody else’s nose and mouth… just this. “To find special things and then prepare a draft,” that’s it.
