Yu Xing Cao (herba houttuyniae) mixed with Lettuce

凉拌折耳根

Ingredients: Yu Xing Cao 50g, lettuce 250g, garlic10g, scallion10g, ginger, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, gourmet powder and sesame oil in proper amount.

Instructions: Pick and cut Yu Xing Cao into small sections; blanch them and rinse with cold water. Mix them with salt and pickle for a while. Peel the lettuce and slice them into slivers; pickle for a while. Clean up garlic, scallion and ginger and slice them. Mix shredded lettuce, Yu Xing Cao sections with garlic, scallion, ginger, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, and gourmet powder. Add some sesame oil.

Effects: Remove heat and toxic elements inside the body; dispel phlegm.

Longan Porridge

Ingredients: Longan 25g, rice 100g, white sugar in proper amount

Instructions: Put longan together with rice into the wok; add some water; boil and steam for a while. Add some sugar when eating.

Effects: Invigorates the function of the spleen and heart, replenishes blood.

Tips: Avoid drinking coffee, tea or wine when eating longan porridge.
