Introduction to ICIF

The China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (hereinafter referred to as “ICIF”) is hosted by the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, the General Administration of Press and Publication of the People’s Republic of China, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Guangdong Provincial People’s Government and Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government. As the only national-level, internationalized and integrated cultural industries fair in China, ICIF focuses on exposition and trade and is committed to building the trade platform for China’s cultural industrial products and projects, promoting and driving the development of China’s cultural industries and actively advancing the globalization of Chinese cultural products.

In order to further implement Mr. Li Changchun’s important instructions on “developing ICIF into a world-famous brand for China’s cultural industries to go global”, according to the requirements of Development Planning for China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (2010-2020), the 7th ICIF will continuously pursue the concept of “Internationalization, Professionalism, Market Orientation, Choice Orientation and Standardization”, focus on the core layer of cultural industries, creativity and technological content of cultural industries, theme on “exhibition and exchange” and highlight on “culture technology”, “culture tourism” and “culture trade”. While keeping the comprehensive exhibition, underline the leading cultural enterprises, products and projects in cultural creation, press and publication, film and television production, creative design, new media, digital content and animation games, intangible cultural heritage, painting and calligraphy art, arts and crafts and other important fields of cultural industries.
