Seven Suggestions for Exercising in the Summer

Sixth, don’t drink cold drinks right after exercising. Many people like to drink something cold after exercising. However, this is a bad habit. Cold drinks can damage your intestines and stomach. Cold drinks can even cause nausea, vomiting, indigestion and acute gastroenteritis. It is best to drink warm fluids and fluids with salt content after exercising.

Seventh, don’t take a shower immediately after exercising. People usually sweat a lot after exercising meaning their pores are wide open. If people take a shower then, it may cause people to get a cold or fever. Taking showers directly after exercise can make muscles tenser as well. It is better to take a warm shower after you are no longer sweating and have cooled down. The water temperature shouldn’t be 2 ℃ higher than body temperature.
