Yuan Hua, director of the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture, introduces the culture and landscape of Anhui.

To celebrate the 65th anniversary of China-Mongolia diplomatic ties, the China Cultural Center in Ulan Bator held a photography exhibition on Oct 17, showcasing exquisite photos from Anhui province.

This exhibition presented 60 photos reflecting basic characteristics of Anhui’s culture, nature, its history and harmonious life. From these exquisite works, visitors can get a glimpse of traditional Anhui opera and customs with local features and enjoy the beauty of Mount Huangshan, Jiuhua Mountain, the Yangtze River and the Huaihe River.

Representatives from the two sides said in their statements that this year is the 65th anniversary of China-Mongolia diplomatic ties, the 20th anniversary of the amendment to the friendship and cooperation treaty between the two countries, and the year of China-Mongolia friendship and exchanges. In August of this year, Chinese President Xi Jinping made a state visit to Mongolia and reached a series of agreements with his counterpart on deepening exchanges and cooperation in multiple sectors. That opened a new page in diplomatic ties. Thanks to the support and participation of people in both countries, cultural exchanges have become an important bridge connecting the two sides. This exhibition and other annual activities are the best witness to the cultural exchanges.
