PIFO New Art Gallery has focused on and promoted Abstract Chinese art via an annual exhibition since 2008. The seventh edition now underway has an academic orientation as it looks at the roots of artists, showing how these artists find inspiration from individual experiences and thoughts in today's China, against a backdrop of a Chinese lifestyle that has largely been globalized. The exhibition features 12 artists, including Liang Quan, Tan Ping and Hu Qinwu.

10 am-6 pm, daily except for Mondays, until July 6. PIFO New Art Gallery, B-11, 798 Art Zone, 2 Jiuxianqiao Lu (Road), Chaoyang district, Beijing. 010-5978-9562.
