The exhibition is co-sponsored by the Chinese National Academy of Arts and Government of Zaozhuang, as the former is one of the top diversified artistic research institutions in China that routinely brings together a large number of artists, experts and scholars of Chinese contemporary art. The Zaozhuang government also has played a role in expediting local cultural reform and development, and is seen as a primary engine for the city’s transition into a more modern one, thus enhancing the its livelihood and happiness of its residents.

Calligraphy, by Shen Peng

The selected artwork represents contemporary paintings and calligraphy at the highest level. Apart from the artists from the Chinese National Academy of Arts, graduate masters from the China National Academy of Painting, the Chinese Artists Association and the Chinese Calligraphers Association will also have a presence at the exhibition.
