Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang province in Southeast China. It was the capital of the Wu Kingdom from 907-978 during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period. During the Southern Song Dynasty, its name was changed to Lin’an. Hangzhou is famous for its picturesque landscape and the famous West Lake. There is a saying “in heaven there is a paradise, on earth Hangzhou and Suzhou”.
