1st Yangliuqing International Folk Photography Exhibition was launched in Beijing, Oct. 29, 2013. Co-organized by China Photographers Association and CPPCC in Xiqing District, Tianjin, the exhibition themed on "inheriting folk culture and promoting spirit of our time".

The exhibition will be held from Feb. 13 to Feb. 15 in 2014 (during the Lantern Festival next year) in Yangliuqing, a famous historical and cultural town in Tianjin. Photographic artists, photography association representatives, folklore experts, scholars, and photography enthusiasts from home and abroad will attend the event.

More than 30 folk photography works exhibitions and photography seminars will be held during the exhibition, which will bring a cultural feast for photography enthusiasts.

The exhibition will solicit photography works from Nov. 1, 2013 to Dec. 31, 2013. All photographers, photography enthusiasts and photography groups can provide their works, themed on the economic and cultural achievements in Xiqing District, Tianjin, especially the folk culture achievements; meanwhile, folk photography works from other countries and regions are also welcomed. 110 excellent photography works will be selected and displayed during the exhibition.
