The Asian art of Chinese embroidery has been turning into a popular practice among Algeria women. It all started with one women’s trip to China where she study the art for three months and returned with a mission.

In a small gallery, women of all ages are learning the art technic of Chinese embroidery. Using a sewing machine, the women receive training on how to make embroidery.

“I had a great privilege to receive training in the People’s Republic of China on Chinese embroidery using a sewing machine. My training session last more than two months and it offered me good experience.” Said Souhila Nadajar, the trainer and pattern maker.
