Mok celebrates a glittering career
When Karen Mok (pictured) was a student in London more than 20 years ago, she landed a role in Miss Saigon in the West End. Mok was sure the part would be the pinnacle of her career. But her role in Miss Saigon turned out to be just one chapter in her long and successful career. The 42-year-old is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her entry into the entertainment industry with a tour and the jazz album Somewhere I Belong. Mok has enjoyed commercial and critical success across Hong Kong, Taiwan and the mainland markets with her music. An award-winning actress, Mok has also played roles in Jackie Chan's and Stephen Chow's films.
