Tanzania China Cultural Center is the first center in the East Africa area and was inaugurated on December 1, 2015. The establishment signals a new phase for an enhanced cooperation and closer ties between the two countries.

The center is located in Dar-es-Salaam, capital of Tanzania, and has been well received by the local public since its trial operation on September 29, 2015. A series of cultural activities have been held, including Chinese painting and calligraphy exhibitions, martial art courses, Chinese language training sessions and cooking workshops.
