Muscat delivered a speech on behalf of the Maltese government, expressing her appreciation of the invitation and stressing her concern about the issues of Maltese women, especially the unemployed. She pointed out that vocational training and collaboration with education institutions would be further advanced to improve the living environment for women in Malta.

Bulinson expressed her appreciation to the 160 members of the World Association of Women in Malta from 30 countries, who had been engaged in activities and campaigns striving for women's rights across the world and calling for more attention and participation by females from all walks of life in tackling women's issues.

Dalli praised two female artists staging exhibitions at the center, saying women had potential in various fields and should be given more opportunities to make a difference not only in developing local civilization but also cultural exchanges between countries.
