Jay Chou: Born on Jan 18, 1979. As a well-known Taiwanese musician, actor and director, he has sold more than 30 million albums and has received numerous awards for his musical work. In 2003, he was the subject of a cover story in Time magazine titled, “New King of Asian Pop”. Chou leads a new trend in music that combines western musical elements and elements of Chinese literature.
