CHINESE CALLIGRAPHY

WRITING OR PAINTING
Painted calligraphy or written painting?

What are these patterns on this bronze pot of Western Han Dynasty? A kind of descriptive writing named "Niaozhuan" (Bird Seal).
Arm shield embroidered with the words "Five stars in the east benefit China", Jin Dynasty (265-420).

 Scripts on Wadang (tile decorations).
 龙(dragon)
 凤(phoenix)
“寿”(longevity) embroidered with flower patterns, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

Papercut framed in the character "Blessings".
 Chinese characters on dress.
Because the character “王”(king) reminds one of a tiger's forehead, the Chinese people regard the tiger as the "king" of the beasts. The pattern is particularly prominent on folk crafts.
