Yak butter sculpture show held to mark Lantern Festival in NW China

A Buddhist monk views yak butter sculptures displayed at the Labrang Monastery in Xiahe County of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Gansu Province, Feb. 24, 2013. An annual yak butter sculpture show was held here on Sunday, the Chinese Lantern Festival, as a means to pray for good fortune and harvest. The Labrang Monastery is among the six great monasteries of the Geluk school of Tibetan Buddhism.
