The Shanghai Art Fair has attracted 155 galleries from China, the US, France, Italy, Costarica, Austria, Canada, Spain, Denmark, Japan and Korea, assembling thousands of pieces of artwork such as oil paintings, Chinese paintings, watercolor paintings, engravings, sculptures, photos, devices and pottery and porcelain.

Tango of Happiness (a large sculpture), created by Singapore artist Kumari Nahappan, was chosen as the theme sculpture of the art fair.
