The First China-Russia Culture and Tourism Forum

The forum The Year of Chinese Tourism in Russia concluded in the famed Marinsky Theatre.

China will continue to expand its tourism cooperation with Russia and will make more effort to promote less developed Chinese cities with huge tourist resources among Russian travelers, said chairman of China's National Tourism Administration (CNTA) Shao Qiwei Friday.

The Year of Chinese Tourism in Russia was part of the China- Russia Tourism Year program which began last year with the Year of Russia Tourism in China, aiming to foster tourism ties and humanistic exchanges between the two neighboring nations.

Highlights:

Over 10 academics from China and Russia engaged in deep discussions centered around five themes such as crossing culture dialogue, creative culture industry, strengthening personnel exchanges, sharing development opportunities, cultural succession, education and development, and specialized cultural exchange and cooperation.
