Chinese writer promotes Chinese culture at Frankfurt Book Fair

Jia Pingao attended the Frankfurt Book Fair to promote his writing this October. The presence of Chinese writers marked the first time that they were able to attend the book publishing event in person. Chinese book sales at the fair have been on the rise recently. For example, copyright exports from the China International Publishing Group in the first three days of this year surpassed the total volume from last year.
Highlight: As Chinese writer Mo Yan’s Nobel Prize award has aroused more interest in Chinese literature and culture among foreign readers, Chinese book sellers have achieved better results than ever at the Book Fair. It is also the first time for Chinese writers to attend the event.
