The sixteenth Shaoxing Wine Festival of this year, as the last activity of the celebration of the 2,500th anniversary of the foundation of Shaoxing City, will follow the traditions of the festival but also have some bright spots. At the same time, the local singers, the famous actress Jiang Yiyan, and the girl chorus of Shaoxing University, which won the Sixth World Choir Games champion, will offer an artistic performance with Shaoxing characteristics. On November 8, the first exhibition of arts and crafts will be held in the Art Gallery of Shaoxing city. National and provincial arts and crafts works, including root carving, bronze sculpture, craft carving, wood carving, and bamboo carving will be displayed, and there are about 48 booths. On the same day, the large-scale series of public activities “Evaluation, Treasure Hunt, and Folk Treasure Competition” will be held in the Chinese Shaoxing wine museum in Shaoxing. From November 8 to 10, 15 enterprises of Shaoxing wine will launch the carnival of Shaoxing wine at Shimao Square and City Square. During the carnival, the enterprises will show their culture, hold sports meetings for fun, give their wine free for tasting, quiz with reward and other activities. The citizens will take part in the activities and enjoy the charm of Shaoxing wine. During that time, The Economic Assembly of Shaoxing Enterprisers Comeback will be held, and 180 enterprisers from Shaoxing will discuss the future development of Shaoxing.
