Youth camp at World Expo full of fun

Those from China, Vietnam, Mexico and Sri Lanka presented their performances at the Greenland Square in the Puxi section of the World Expo this morning.
 
Tomorrow, participants will show off clothes made of recycled materials at the square to draw attention to environmental protection. On Thursday, a gala event will be held at the same place. Foreign participants will be invited to speak some Chinese, sing songs, take part in a mimic boat race, and experience the life of local Chinese.
 

The camp will wrap up on August 13.

The name of the mascot of World Expo 2010 Shanghai China is Hai Bao, which means the treasure of the sea.

The emblem, depicting the image of three people-you, me, him/her holding hands together, symbolizes the big family of mankind.

The theme of Expo 2010 is "Better City, Better Life," representing the common wish of the whole humankind for a better living in future urban environments.
