Pavilions plan ‘water searching’ event

 
The launching ceremony of “water searching tour”

An event designed to promote water knowledge among youngsters will be held at six pavilions in Urban Best Practice Area starting from this Tuesday.

Hangzhou Pavilion at UBPA launched the event “water searching tour” with another five water-related-theme pavilions yesterday afternoon, including Guangzhou Pavilion, Chengdu Pavilion, Geneva-Zurich-Basel Pavilion, Osaka Pavilion and Rotterdam Pavilion.

The six pavilions encourage kids and teenagers to know about water, learn knowledge on water by visiting them and collecting seal chops. The event will last for about two weeks.

The pavilions will hand out a total of 200 blank answer sheets to youngsters every day. Each pavilion will contribute two to three questions, and answers can be easily found in the pavilions. If the participants can fill in the right answers, they can get their sheets stamped with special seal for the event.

After collecting six stamps, youngsters can get gift packs from the pavilions. Swiss pavilion provides a travel cup while a special sticker is present from Osaka Pavilion. Chengdu Pavilion makes panda plush toy as their giveaway, and Hangzhou Pavilion’s presents include a badge and 400-yuan (US$59) Hangzhou traveling coupons.
