The architecture of the translucent pavilion is intended to reflect the duality of the Irish experience and symbolizes the relationship between urban and rural, man-made and natural.

It presents visitors with a vision of various aspects of Irish life - a country offering a fascinating blend of history, scenery and culture as well as one of the world's most open economies.

The Irish harp is the symbol of the pavilion. As a country known for its music, music is an element that cannot be missed.

Visitors will be drawn towards the Ireland Pavilion by popular Irish performers such as the Chieftains, Enya, U2, Westlife, Riverdance and so forth, appearing on a screen video wall.
