Bulls fight to celebrate Miao's New Year in Guizhou

A bullfight was held in Leishan county of Southwest China's Guizhou province on Wednesday to celebrate Miao's New Year.

According to the traditional calendar of the Miao ethnic group, Nov. 4 this year marks the second day of the festival.

The event will last until Nov. 9 and more than 300 bulls from Yunnan, Guangxi, and Guizhou will take part.

The celebration of Miao's New Year was listed in 2006 as a Chinese national intangible cultural heritage.
