The Den

While it’s not the most aesthetically pleasing location, the Den is one of the top hangouts for sports fans in Beijing.

While it’s not the most aesthetically pleasing location, the Den is one of the top hangouts for sports fans in Beijing. It is home to a variety of Beijing sporting clubs and boasts one of the most loyal and consistent customer bases in the city.

This drably decorated two-floor venue contains plenty of sturdy tables and multiple TVs. The drinks are cheaper here than most bars, and the happy hour menu (running daily from 5:00-10:00 PM) renders pizza and beer at half price.

There’s not much else to say about the Den other than that it’s a no-nonsense sports bar that delivers exactly what it promises: cheap alcohol, lots of tables and seating, and all the flat screens you could wish for. It’s also known for having a delectable late night menu which includes Western-style breakfast food available well into the evening.

Where: A4 Gongti Donglu 工体东路甲4号

Opening Hours: 24/7
