The China Cultural Center in Minsk in Belarus was inaugurated on Dec 21, 2017 at an event attended by more than 300 government officials and representatives from both countries. They included Cui Qiming, Chinese ambassador to Belarus; Xie Jinying, director general of the Bureau for External Cultural Relations, Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism; Boris Svetlov, the then-Belarusian culture minister; Vasily Chernik, deputy culture minister of Belarus, and representatives from Belarus's Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
