2015 Symposium on China Studies

Sponsored by Chinese Ministry of Culture and Chinese Academy of Social Science, 2015 Symposium on China Studies was inaugurated in Beijing on October 26, 2015. 26 noted scholars and sinologists from 22 countries including America, Russia, Singapore, France and South Africa as well as 21 Chinese famous experts from various fields attended the forum. During the forum, scholars from China and abroad had an in-depth discussion focusing on "China's international image and international relations", " 'One Belt And One Road' Strategy and regional relationship", "History and arts", "Culture and translation" and "China Studies".

Symposium on China Studies is aimed at strengthening communication and dialogues of thoughts between Chinese and foreign scholars, interpreting and transmitting modern China's values and Chinese traditional culture in the international arena. It plays an important role in promoting international recognition and acceptance of China's core values.

It has been held in 2013 and 2014, having invitee near a hundred famous Chinese and foreign scholars, which has proved to be the new platform for high-end cultural communication and has received high recognition and praise among Chinese and foreign academics.
