All efforts helped to promote the international communication and cooperation in the field of domestic entertainment, culture and handicraft, acquire advanced management experience and improve the management of domestic cultural institutions.

3. From 2015 to 2019, CICA selected more than 20 professionals each year from domestic art institutions to visit overseas art institutions and conduct one- to three-month exchanges. These efforts, backed by funding and cooperation from the China National Arts Fund from 2015 to 2017, aimed to cultivate high-end composite art and management professionals and build a platform for exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign cultural institutions. 526 people from 397 art institutions in 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions had signed up and applied to participate in the project. 102 people were selected to do an internship in 79 foreign art institutions in 25 countries. CICA has shared 170 exchange experiences with its domestic counterparts through its website and public WeChat account, and organized them as three books according to three categories: vision, performance and integration. Through the project, professionals sent abroad developed an international perspective and learned advanced management experience. Some even discovered valuable research materials lost overseas. At the same time, they made friends with their foreign counterparts, introduced Chinese culture to them and bridged a cooperative channel between Chinese art institutions and their foreign counterparts. Overall, they believed the benefits of the project have exceeded their expectations and the exchange results are still gradually emerging.
