Recommended by China International Culture Association, Yang Zehua, a cultural volunteer, went to Paris to launch a training course for mounting Chinese paintings and calligraphy at the invitation of China Cultural Center in Paris in 2013. From November 15 to December 23, he imparted the traditional mounting technique to 20 Chinese and French students in two sessions of this training course, sharing the knowledge and wisdom of traditional Chinese arts. Yang is dedicated and witty, making many friends out of the students.
As an expert in restoration of cultural relics in the Palace Museum, Yang felt honored to spread Chinese traditional culture overseas as a representative of China. Before leaving, he prepared a lot of necessary materials to make sure the course went smoothly. He also addressed many problems while teaching, giving the best class possible to all students who were keen to learn about Chinese culture. Their enthusiasm infected each other and the course was a big success. Yang became a well-welcomed teacher when the course concluded.
This training course not only spread this traditional Chinese technique to foreigners, but also strengthened the culture communication between China and France.
