As two Chinese cultural volunteers to Cape Verde assigned by CICA, Liu Sha and Guo Jing felt it honorable to impart Chinese dance overseas. In order to complete the task successfully, they fully prepared before leaving and arrived in Cape Verde on October in 2017.

As Chinese dance is different from Panama's local dance, volunteers met a lot of challenges during the teaching process. However, with the support of Cape Verde-China Friendship Association, they overcame the difficulties and successfully passed on four Chinese dances to local people in nine days. Students in Cape Verde all expressed their appreciation of the volunteers, and were more interested in Chinese dance and culture.

Liu and Guo said it is a golden opportunity to share Chinese dance and culture. They hope that the Chinese cultural volunteer project can continue and further develop in the future.
