More than 2,000 children took part in the annual 700-meter sprint for children of the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon on the evening of Nov 29, 2019.

The runners started from the iconic F1 Pit, which was also the starting point for the regular marathon. These future marathon runners, some as young as 2 months old, had the chance to experience the marathon firsthand.

As the highlight of the event for the year, parents and children watched an eye-opening "Monster Slam Dunk" show at the camp, along with the largest digital ground model.

The children also enjoyed a fun-filled evening with carnival games and bouncy castles.

Children aged 11 and older also could participate in the 5 kilometer run, demonstrating the progress of the event and presenting new challenges for older children.
