我3岁时因病致聋，虽然经过漫长的治疗，然而却始终未摆脱厄运。1986年开始我在聋哑学校学习，1997年我的木雕《鱼》、《残缺》被中国美术馆收藏。

我把陶艺当作自己的生命，在陶艺村当同伴们为我点燃生日蜡烛、唱起“祝你生日快乐”时，泪水蒙住了我的双眼，我暗下决心：一定要万分珍惜今天的时光，一定要努力去创作更多的作品，祈望陶艺能圆我人生的艺术之梦！

"I was left deaf by an illness at three, and have not recovered despite treatment. In 1986 I began to study in the Special School. A yaer later, my wood sculptures 'Fish' and 'imperfect' were included in the collection of the China National Museum of Fine Arts.

Pottery art is my life. When my friends celebrated my last birthday in the Pottery Village, with candles and singing 'Happy Birthday', I made a promise to myself to cherish every day of my life and devote myself to creating more works. I sincerely pray that pottery art will make my dream come true."
