我10岁时因病致聋，退学在家自学文化和美术，1995年在康复中学学习美术和陶艺，1998年毕业到了东方陶艺村。

对泥土的眷恋，源自幼时与小伙伴游戏时捏的泥锅，泥人……，没想到二十年后的今天，又会“重操旧业”，而且成了我毕生永恒的追求。

我是一个聋哑人，象许多残疾人一样，有过痛苦、坎坷和不幸，但我没有向命运低头，我在努力地用我的作品去实现一个残疾人生存的价值和意义！

"I became deaf from an illness at age ten. In 1995, after teaching myself general knowledge and fine arts, I went to the Recovery Middle School to study fine arts and pottery. Three years later I came to the Oriental Pottery Village.

My affection for the earth originates from such childhood pastimes as making mud pots and mud dolls......but 20 years later, these games have turned into my professional career.

Like other disabled people I have also suffered a lot from my handicap. But the trials and tribulations of life will not crush me. Rather, I spend my time searching for the value and meaning of my life as a man of dignity."
