The site is located at the western of Linjing town of Xuchang city, Henan Province and covers an area of 259 square meters. Since 2005, 30,000 animal fossils, stone and bone artifacts have been unearthed. The fossil include 16 pieces of the skull with protruding eyebrows and a small forehead. More astonishing than the completeness of the skull is that it still has a fossilized membrane on the inside, so scientists can track the nerves of Palaeolithic ancestors.
