The Wenhua Library Development Company (WLDC) was established in 1994.
Major tasks: WLDC's business activities cover book production, reproduction of documents, the sale of microfilming equipment, library equipment and facilities, and the operation of book stores, a service network for readers and Cultural and office facilities. It also designs and makes new carriers, a document and book data center and advertising, undertakes office automation, integration of computer systems and laser engraving, sets standard internal design for libraries, and provides technological services for library protection.
Establishment: WLDC includes the General Office, Advertising Department, System Engineering Department, Software Development Department, Laser Department, Comprehensive Service Department, Book and Document Department, Bibliographic Data Center, and Library Equipment and Facility Department. It also has a branch company in Shenyang, Liaoning Province.
