China's annual stamp album for 2014 with new features went on sale on Dec 1. Passionate collectors inBeijingswarmed into Beijing Dongcheng Philatelic Corporation for the album.

A representative from the China National Philatelic Corporation said that this year's stamp album contains commemorative and special stamps as well as other philatelic items. The stamps have 3D effects which can be activated by scanning QR codes and stamps in the album with a smartphone.

According to the representative, traditional printing is no longer the only form for a stamp album. By combining multimedia involving listening and watching, the album can tell more stories about the stamps, which help stamp collectors appreciate the stamps from a multi-perspective.
