When will Chinese animated films break away from the vicious cycle of ‘low age’?

The famous film director Hark Tsui once said: "Animation is a type of film, not cartoons."

The producers of Chinese animated films should take into consideration the needs of adults and cater to their tastes. Only in this way can we take it to the next level. Today's animated films are growing, but we still have a long way to go.

Our film studios should learn from the experiences of other countries, change the current "low age" of our animated film industry, and be boldly innovative when it comes to subject matter. In this way our animated films can attract a broader audience.
