2013-05-17 15:34:47

Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, one of the top three orchestras in France, is touring in China because they have discovered great market potentials, according to its CEO Thierry d’Argoubet.

There are very good music academies and excellent musicians in China such as Yu Long, who has been invited to perform with the Orchestra for its performance seasons in 2014 and 2015, said Argoubet in a media conference for their upcoming Beijing performance.

Russian cellist Tatjana Vassiljeva and Mexican conductor Alondra de la Parra have been invited to join their China’s concerts.

As a part of Festival Croisements 2013 - the biggest French art festival outside of France - the troupe has visited Shanghai and Wuhan, and will play in Beijing on May 17 and in Tianjin on May 18.
